A new city center has just completed construction, and features a wide variety of restaurants, shops, and live events. On the same road as the city center is Memorial Park, a 16-acre recreation area featuring a BMX course, dog park, and numerous sports fields.

​​​​​​​The nearest interstate to San Ramon is I-680, which provides easy to access to the Bay Area. For local commuting there is also an in city bus system.
